Apple iPhone 15 series with USB C charging means you could get faster charging speeds and ease of using more accessories.

Apple iPhone 15 series is launching this week, and the wait will be finally over to see the company adopt USB-C charging for its new iPhones. Apple was not keen on this move for obvious reasons, but the stringent EU laws have forced the company’s hand, which would ultimately benefit the consumers.

The company has used its proprietary lightning connector for iPhone charging for a long time, which has helped Apple sell a lot of lightning cables and accessories. The change to USB C is expected to affect its money from this segment.

But, it’s not all doom and gloom for the brand, as reports say that Apple is also bound to get some positives out of this move. A new survey claims that the Apple iPhone 15 series moving to USB C for charging could tempt millions of Android users to jump ship this year. Apple is bringing four models as a part of the iPhone 15 series, something the company did last year as well.

We expect to see the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max. All of these iPhones offering a USB-C charging port does change the equation for buyers, even those who avoided buying an iPhone because of its closed nature. Now, these people can buy an iPhone and use one charger for all their devices, even if they continue using an Android phone.

We have heard about the prospect of Apple finally upgrading the charging speeds for iPhones, as long as people use its standard chargers and cable. But moving to USB C negates this limitation and hopefully, other third-party accessories can finally be a safe alternative for consumers.

We’re just a day away from the main launch event when we get to see Tim Cook and Co. talk more about its implementation of USB-C charging for iPhones and possible roadmap for the future.
