Apple iPhone 15 series will have four models once again, and the Pro series is the one to watch
Apple iPhone 15 series is launching this week but all eyes will be waiting for the details on the new iPhone 15 Pro model.
Apple iPhone 15 series is launching in a day’s time, and the excitement level among people has definitely gone up a notch. Apple has avoided falling into rumours and leaks, but that doesn’t stop the iPhone 15 details from showing up on the internet. And like the previous few years, most people are excited to see the new iPhone 15 Pro series, particularly the iPhone 15 Pro model that has the right size, features similar to the Pro Max variant and is still priced competitively.
We have come across many features and specifications that will be part of the new iPhone 15 Pro models, but here are some of the special features that we can’t wait to see when Apple officially unveils the iPhones.
ProMotion Display
Apple’s insistence on keeping the best features for the Pro models has worked like a charm, appealing to more consumers. The company has offered its high-refresh-rate screen in the form of ProMotion which gives you an adaptive refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. The iPhone 15 Pro is likely to retain the screen feature with the possible upgrades to the panel.
New A17 Bionic Chip
Apple is expected to share the details for the new A17 bionic chip, which should once again be the industry-leading mobile SoC. But as we have seen in the past few years, the new A17 chip could be limited to the Pro models, while offering the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus with an A16 chipset to manage the cost and supply challenges. The new A17 bionic will compete with the yet-to-launch Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset from Qualcomm and MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 chip.
Camera Upgrades
The iPhone 15 Pros are rumoured to get major camera upgrades, which include the higher megapixel sensors on board. Reports also suggest Apple could finally bring a periscope lens to the iPhones, but we won’t be surprised if the company keeps it exclusive to the Pro Max model.
iPhones With USB-C Charging
Yes, it is finally happening. Apple is moving to USB-C for iPhones this year, and we can thank the European Union (EU) for this much-wanted change. Offering USB-C for charging iPhones means that people don’t need to carry multiple chargers and cables to charge their iPhones from here on. It is likely to push the charging speeds for iPhones as well and we are hoping that is a worthwhile upgrade. It is also one of the aspects of the new iPhone 15 series that could entice millions of Android users to finally buy an iPhone.
