Sony’s PS5 console is currently on sale for a reduced price of Rs 44,990 on both Amazon and Flipkart during the ongoing festive sales. However, there’s a way to purchase it at an even lower cost. Here’s how the deal works.

The disc variant of the PlayStation 5 is now available at an all-time low price of Rs 44,990 during the Amazon Great Indian Festival and Flipkart Big Billion Sale. So, if you are looking to buy one, now could be the ideal time to do so.

Firstly, as part of the deal on Amazon India, users can purchase the PS5 console for Rs 44,990 without any offers, but if you combine the SBI card discount, you can buy Sony’s latest console for an effective price of Rs 41,999. On Flipkart, you can use the ICICI card offer to bring the price down to Rs 42,990. However, if you have 200 SuperCoins, you can get an additional discount of Rs 2,000—bringing the price down to Rs 40,990. This is notably Rs 14,000 cheaper than the typical retail price of the disc variant of the console, which is Rs 54,990.

While this is certainly an attractive offer and is the lowest the console has been since launch, now could be the ideal time to buy the console thanks to its growing library of games and upcoming titles like Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which releases later this month, and the already rich library of games like God of War Ragnarok, Returnal and Final Fantasy 16.

Moreover, with Sony rumored to launch a refreshed PS5 model sometime in the future, now may be the best time to buy in case you don’t want the rumored PS5, which may come with an optional, attachable disc drive.

With that said, this is certainly a turnaround for Sony PS5, which saw unprecedented demand during the early days of its launch. Back then, the PS5 console was sold at black market prices, and it was quite tough to buy one at the MRP. But as it is obvious, things have changed for the better now.
