Delhi Police has recently removed Jantar Mantar as a designated protest venue in the national capital. This decision has led to criticisms from leaders of the Cockroach Janta Party, including Ashutosh Ranka and Abhijeet Dipke. Ranka suggested that Mt Everest should be declared a protest site as well. The new designated venues for protests are Ramlila Ground, Burari Ground, and CBD Ground in East Delhi.
