Twitter: आईटी रूल 2021 के तहत सभी बड़ी सोशल मीडिया कंपनियों को हर महीने की यूजर सेफटी रिपोर्ट जारी करनी होती है. इसी नियम के तहत ट्विटर (अब एक्स) ने सितंबर महीने की रिपोर्ट जारी की है और कंपनी ने बड़ी संख्या में भारतीय अकाउंट्स पर एक्शन लिया है. एलन मस्क के ट्विटर ने 26 अगस्त ने 25 सितंबर के बीच 5,57,764 भारतीय अकाउंट्स को बैन किया है. इनमें से ज्यादातर अकाउंट्स कंपनी के नियमों के खिलाफ जाकर बाल यौन शोषण और गैर-सहमति वाली नग्नता को बढ़ावा दे रहे थे. यानि न्यूडिटी को प्लेटफॉर्म पर पोस्ट कर रहे थे.
इसी दौरन कंपनी ने 1,675 ऐसे अकाउंट्स को भी हमेशा के लिए बंद कर दिया है जो आतंकवाद को बढ़ावा दे रहे थे. कुल मिलकर, कंपनी ने 26 अगस्त से 25 सितंबर के बीच 5,59,439 अकाउंट्स को प्लेटफॉर्म से बैन किया है.
3,000 से ज्यादा शिकायतें
इसी अवधि में कंपनी को 3,076 शिकायतें मिली थी. इनमें से कंपनी ने 116 शिकायतों पर कार्रवाई की जो खाता निलंबन के खिलाफ अपील कर रही थी. हालांकि स्थिति की बारीकियों से समीक्षा करने के बाद कंपनी ने इनमें से 10 अकाउंट को फिर से बहाल कर दिया जबकि अन्य सभी हमेशा के लिए बैन हो चुके हैं.
मंथली सेफ्टी रिपोर्ट में कंपनी ने बताया कि सबसे अधिक शिकायतें दुर्व्यवहार/उत्पीड़न (1,076) के बारे में थीं. इसके बाद घृणित आचरण (1,063), बाल यौन शोषण (450) और संवेदनशील वयस्क सामग्री (एडल्ट कंटेंट) के लिए (332) शिकायतें मिली थी. इससे पिछले महीने, 25 जुलाई से 26 अगस्त के बीच कंपनी ने 12,80,107 अकाउंट्स को बैन किया था जबकि जून महीने में 18,51,022 अकाउंट को हमेशा के लिए बंद कर दिया गया था. अगर आप भी प्लेटफॉर्म पर इस तरह के कृत्य में शामिल हैं तो कंपनी आपका अकाउंट भी बैन कर सकती है. ध्यान दें, ऐसा जरुरी नहीं है कि आपका अकाउंट केवल रिपोर्ट होने के बाद ही बैन हो, कंपनी खुद भी अकाउंट पर एक्शन ले सकती है. इसलिए अगर आप अपना अकाउंट सुरक्षित रखना चाहते हैं तो प्लेटफॉर्म के नियमों का ध्यान रखे और गलत चीजों को बढ़ावा न दें.
