OpenAI, Jony Ive Reportedly Developing AI Speakers and Smart Glasses on the Back of Apple’s Supply Chain

OpenAI and LoveFrom are said to be co-developing an AI-powered smart speaker, though this is only one of several devices planned. The collaboration stems from OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and ex-Apple design chief Jony Ive. Alongside the speaker, the duo is reportedly exploring smart glasses, an AI digital recorder, and even an AI Pin, which Ive is less enthusiastic about.

HyperOS 3 Update Release Timeline Revealed; Xiaomi 15 Ultra, Redmi K80 Pro Among First Phones to Get Updates

Xiaomi 15 Ultra, Xiaomi 15S Pro, and Redmi K80 Pro will be among the first smartphones to get the Chinese smartphone maker’s Android 16-based HyperOS 3 update. The company will start rolling out the latest software version on October 15. By the end of October, other devices such as Xiaomi smartwatches, foldable phones, tablets, and smart TVs will also start receiving the HyperOS 3 update.

Perplexity’s Comet Browser Launched in India on Desktop, Available for Pre-Register on Android

Perplexity CEO Aravind Srinivas confirmed that the artificial intelligence (AI)-powered Comet browser is launching in India on September 22. Currently, the app is open for pre-register on Android in the country, while its desktop version has already launched for macOS and Windows. Currently, the iOS version of the app is not available in the country.
