The Odisha government has released Rs 14.34 crore as the second instalment to eligible higher education institutions under its Gyanodaya- Shiksha Ru Samruddhi scheme for 2026-27. The latest release takes the total disbursement to Rs 23.90 crore. The initiative provides admission fee waivers to eligible students and is expected to benefit over 32 lakh students annually.
