Infosys and NVIDIA are partnering to deliver generative AI solutions.
Tech giant Nvidia and India’s Infosys are partnering to bring Nvidia’s enterprise-grade AI models, runtimes, and GPU systems to Infosys Topaz.
Nvidia and India’s Infosys have announced a new strategic partnership in which they will empower enterprises and businesses with generative AI-based solutions to drive productivity.
Through this collaboration, Nvidia will bring its enterprise-grade AI models, runtimes, and GPU systems to Infosys Topaz, which is an AI-first set of services, solutions, and platforms using generative AI technology.
“Through the integration, Infosys will create offerings customers can adopt to easily integrate generative AI into their businesses,” Nvidia said.
Moreover, Infosys is also going to set up an ‘Nvidia Center of Excellence,’ where they will train and certify 50,000 of their employees on Nvidia AI technology.
“Infosys Topaz offerings and solutions are complementary to Nvidia’s core stack. By combining our strengths and training 50,000 of our workforce on Nvidia AI technology, we are creating end-to-end industry leading AI solutions that will help enterprises on their journey to become AI-first,” said Nandan Nilekani, Co-founder and Chairman, Infosys.
Random Nilekani further added that by combining Nvidia’s and Infosys’ strengths and by training its 50,000 strong workforce on Nvidia AI technology, the company aims to create an “end-to-end industry leading AI solution.”
“Generative AI will drive the next wave of enterprise productivity gains,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO, NVIDIA.
He added: “The NVIDIA AI Enterprise ecosystem is ramping quickly to provide the platform for generative AI. Together, NVIDIA and Infosys will create an expert workforce to help businesses use this platform to build custom applications and solutions.”
In addition, these two companies will also be sharing their respective expertise in applications like Infosys Cortex with NVIDIA Riva speech and translation AI, pairing Infosys Generative AI Labs with the NVIDIA NeMo framework, and even co-developing AI-powered solutions in areas like 5G, cybersecurity and energy transition.
