Natalie Flaherty, a 12-year-old from Minnesota, received the Gloria Barron Prize for her initiative against hate. She started her campaign, ‘I Stand with Anne’, by distributing bracelets that promote kindness. Flaherty’s project evolved into a nationwide movement, reaching all 50 states and beyond. She plans to use her prize money to continue her advocacy and educational work on hate.
