Man who shot sweets vendor dead over ‘denying him jalebis’ ahead of other customers gets life imprisonment

A Delhi court has handed a life sentence to a man 12 years after he fatally shot a sweets vendor for refusing him jalebis out of turn. The incident occurred near Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in 2014. The vendor was shot in the head at close range after an argument over skipping the queue. The convict, Neeraj, was found guilty of murder and illegal firearm use.
