A warden and a cook at a private boarding school near Punalur were arrested for allegedly assaulting a 12-year-old student. The cook suspected the boy of theft and hung him upside down, with the warden reportedly assisting. The boy is reportedly unharmed, and the case was filed after he informed his parents.
