Kentucky golf course shut after low turnout is becoming a 225-acre park, 70% greenspace

A Kentucky county closed its 225-acre Fox Run Golf Course after it averaged just 9,000 to 10,000 rounds annually. Now, the former golf property is being transformed into a major public park featuring trails, climbing areas, biking facilities, water features and family spaces. Around 70% of the site will remain preserved as natural greenspace for future generations.
