Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro have launched in India for Rs 75,999 and Rs 1,06,999 respectively. The new Pixel 8 series phones will be available in India through Flipkart from October 12 and the company is powering the phones with the new Tensor G3 chip which has the mix of raw power and AI smartness.

You get the Pixel 8 with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage in India, while the Pixel 8 Pro has launched with 12GB RAM but only the 128GB variant in the country. You do get multiple colour options for both the Pixel 8 phones. Here’s our Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro first look video with all the details

Pixel 8 series still doesn’t advance in the charging department, as the Pixel 8 offers around 27W charging speed, while the Pixel 8 Pro moves to 30W speed this year, which is marginally better than what the iPhone 15 series offers but still slower than Samsung and OnePlus among others.

Google continues its journey in the Pixel world with high-quality cameras that offer computational photography and other AI skills like magic eraser. But this year’s Pixel phones also focus on videos with better AI tools for editing your moving shots and even change the audio settings.

Google Pixel 8 series comes with a primary 50MP camera with OIS along with a 12MP ultrawide sensor on the Pixel 8. The Pixel 8 Pro has a secondary 48MP telephoto and an ultrawide camera this year. Talking about the display, Google has introduced the new Actua screen on the Pixel 8 series that now supports 120Hz refresh rate. However, only the Pixel 8 Pro gets an LTPO panel for adaptive refresh rate.
