YouTube has launched an AI likeness detection tool to help creators identify deepfakes using their image or voice. Available to YouTube Partner Programme members, it requires ID verification and a video selfie for access. The tool flags suspected deepfakes in a dashboard, allowing creators to review or request removals.

YouTube is expanding its likeness detection tool which lets creators identify and flag content that features their likeness generated using artificial intelligence (AI). It is now available to all creators under the YouTube Partner Program. If a creator spots their likeness being used by another party on YouTube, they can submit a removal request for review, as part of the platform’s privacy guidelines.

Nintendo has announced a second Direct presentation for the upcoming Switch 2 racing title, Kirby Air Riders. Kirby Air Riders Direct will be livestreamed on October 23 on Nintendo's YouTube channel. The presentation will be hosted by game director Masahiro Sakurai.

Samsung's Galaxy S26 series is expected to be launched early next year with upgrades over the Galaxy S25 series. Though official details remain unconfirmed, a new report suggests that Samsung could use its latest in-house Exynos chipset in its upcoming series. Samsung's Exynos 2600 is expected to outperform Apple's and Qualcomm's latest chips. It is said to offer improved graphical performance and NPU performance over Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. An early Geekbench listing suggests mixed performance.

OnePlus 15 will launch in China on October 27, with an India release date yet to be announced. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and a 7,300mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging. The phone will feature Oppo’s LUMO Condensed Light Imaging system (DetailMax Engine globally) and a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Sony main camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. It will also support Master Mode and 4K 120fps video recording.
