OnePlus has announced the Open Beta Test for OxygenOS 16 in India for the OnePlus 13, OnePlus 12, and other models. It enables select users to try out the new Android 16-based update before it is publicly released. Before joining the OxygenOS 16 Open Beta Test, users are required to check the eligibility criteria and ensure that their OnePlus handset is on the latest eligible software version.

Vivo unveiled its new Android 16-based OriginOS 6 during the Vivo Developer Conference 2025 on Friday. The Chinese smartphone maker also launched the BlueOS 3 operating system (OS), too. The OriginOS 6 update will bring fresh themes, artificial intelligence (AI) tools, redesigned home page and app icons, along with a new home screen and clock widget. The upcoming Vivo X300 series and iQOO 15 will run the Android 16-based OS out of the box.

iQOO 15 was discovered on the Indonesian Telecom SDPPI website ahead of its launch. This reportedly confirms the handset's availability in Indonesia. It appeared with the certification number 1114907/DJID/2025. Meanwhile, iQOO, through its Weibo handle, teased the Legend Edition colourway of the iQOO 15. The handset is seen in a white shade with a matte middle-frame and body.

A patent filing of the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold shows a three-panel design with individual batteries linked by ribbon cables. The camera panel houses the smallest battery, while the third panel holds the largest, potentially offering more total capacity than the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s 4,400mAh cell. Rumoured to feature a 9.96-inch unfolded display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a silicon-carbon battery, and a triple-camera with a 200-megapixel main sensor, the handset is expected to launch at the APEC summit, initially in South Korea and China.
