Apple iPhone 15 Launch: The Cupertino-based tech giant Apple is gearing up to host its ‘Wonderlust’ event on Tuesday, September 12. During this event, the company will introduce its latest iPhone 15 models, which include the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max/Ultra.
Alongside the iPhone 15 series, the brand is also expected to unveil new smartwatches — Apple Watch Series 9 and Watch Ultra 2 and new AirPods featuring a USB-C port.
The company will host the ‘Wonderlust’ event on Tuesday at 10:00 AM in Apple Park, California. Apple will also livestream the event, which will start with Apple CEO Tim Cook keynotes. Reports have also suggested that the new iPhones are expected to be open for pre-orders starting on September 15 and the iPhone 15 series could go on sale on September 22. However, there are rumors that the iPhone 15 Pro Max might come out a few weeks later than the other models. This delay could be because of issues with getting enough periscope camera parts.
As per leaks, the upcoming iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will come in new colours, including Midnight (Black), Starlight (White), Light Green, Yellow, Blue, and Orange (Coral Pink). On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models will offer colour options like Dark Blue, Silver-Gray, Space Black, and Titanium.
In terms of pricing, the iPhone 15 Pro is anticipated to be priced $100 higher than its predecessor, with a starting price of $1,099 in the US (around Rs. 81,200). On the other hand, the 15 Pro Max is rumored to have a $200 increase in price, potentially starting at $1,299 (around Rs. 95,800).
On the other hand, the base models are likely to be available in a similar price range, like every year. The iPhone 15 is expected to start at $799 (around Rs. 59,000), while the iPhone 15 Plus may start at $899 (around Rs. 66,400).
