A 5,000-year-old marble statuette called “The Stargazer” originates from ancient Turkey. This rare figure, dating to 3000 BCE, is remarkably whole and unbroken. Its oversized head and upward gaze create a distinctive, stylized human form. The statuette’s original purpose remains a mystery due to its ancient origins. Similar figures have been found across Western Anatolia and nearby regions.
