5-year-old asks for a baseball field, Ohio dad spends $30,000 building one in backyard

An Ohio father spent nearly two years and around $30,000 building a baseball field in his backyard after his five-year-old son requested one. Jason Kidd transformed his property into a playing field with professional-grade clay, regulation bases and a raised pitcher’s mound. Despite complaints from neighbours and unfinished additions, Kidd said the project was about spending time with his son and teaching him baseball.
