Following High Court directives and a Public Interest Litigation, the Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation has launched a stringent campaign against unauthorized hoardings and banners. Thirteen criminal cases have been registered across various police stations in Ulhasnagar against violators. The UMC has warned citizens, organizations, and political parties of strict legal action for non-compliance, including financial penalties and further criminal cases.
