Dubai has successfully conducted its first crewed electric air-taxi flight. This marks a significant step towards launching commercial air-taxi services by 2026. The flight demonstrated vertical take-off, cruise, and landing. Passengers will soon experience fast city travel, with services expected to be competitive with taxis. Qatar also recently trialed an unmanned eVTOL flight.
