Oman’s ruler, Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, has granted a royal pardon to 334 inmates, including citizens and expatriates, ahead of January 11, the country’s Accession Day. The Royal Oman Police confirmed the decree applies to prisoners convicted of various offenses across Oman, taking into account their family and social circumstances, offering them a chance to reintegrate into society.
