Kuwait’s Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has called on all citizens and residents to join Salat Al-Istisqa, the prayer for rain, on 8th November at 10:30 a.m. in 125 mosques nationwide. Acting Undersecretary Suleiman Al-Sulwailem said preparations are complete for the ritual, a Sunnah traditionally performed during drought to seek divine mercy.
