Indore Collector Shivam Verma is now managing the Bhagirathpura crisis. This follows the removal of top Indore Municipal Corporation officials. The area is facing a diarrhoea outbreak. Verma is overseeing a cleanup of water and health infrastructure. Several government borewells failed quality tests. Private borewells are also being tested. Narmada water supply is suspended for three days for safety checks.
