WhatsApp is said to be testing a new feature for its Android app. As per a feature tracker, it may soon allow users to select who can reshare their status updates. The option is turned off by default and has to be enabled by the original author. This feature is reportedly only available to beta testers currently, who are registered via the Google Play Beta programme.

Meta Launches ‘Vibes’ Feed for AI-Generated Short Videos on Meta AI App, Website

Meta Platforms has launched "Vibes," a new feed for short-form, AI-generated videos, on Thursday. The new feature is launched as part of Meta's push to accelerate AI development. The feature is rolling out to the Meta AI app and the meta.ai website. It lets users make videos from scratch or remix videos from the feed. These created videos can be shared via DM or cross-posted to Instagram or Facebook.

Samsung Said to Have Begun Testing One UI 8.5 Update on the Galaxy S24+

Samsung recently announced the release schedule of the One UI 8 update for Galaxy devices in India. Now, the South Korean tech conglomerate is said to have begun testing its next iteration, dubbed One UI 8.5, for select older models. As per a tipster, the latest build of the Android 16-based firmware has been spotted on an internal test server for one of the handsets in the Galaxy S24 series.
