WhatsApp is developing new quick sharing options for status updates on its iOS app, according to a feature tracker. It will allow users to share status updates to Facebook and Instagram, without having to navigate through a separate interface. However, users may reportedly have to link their WhatsApp account to the Meta Accounts Centre to use the new functionality. The feature is currently under development and only available to beta testers.

OnePlus 15s is tipped to launch with a 6.32-inch flat OLED screen with 1.5K resolution. It is said to run on a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The battery capacity of the phone could be more than 7,000mAh. It is said to offer 100W fast charging support. It could carry an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and metal middle frame.

HMD Touch 4G has launched in India for Rs. 3,999 as the country’s first hybrid phone, bridging feature phones and smartphones. It features a 3.2-inch QVGA touchscreen, Unisoc T127 chipset and runs S30+ Touch OS. The phone offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C, and FM Radio connectivity. It includes a 2-megapixel rear and 0.3-megapixel front camera, a quick-call button, a 2,000mAh removable battery, an IP52-rated build, and comes in Cyan and Dark Blue shades.

Bungie has announced closed technical playtests from its extraction shooter, Marathon. The playtests will be invite-only and will be available to players in North America and Europe between October 22 and October 28. Application for the playtest is now open to interested players.

Asus has announced the new ROG Ally and ROG Ally X in India, developed in collaboration with Asus. These are the first Xbox-branded handhelds from the company. The ROG XBox Ally X is the higher-end model in the lineup and comes with an AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme chipset. Both models come with a 7-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a new grip design, which is identical to the Xbox Wireless Controller.
