The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority has lifted its four-year ban on crypto exchange-traded notes (ETNs), enabling retail investors to gain exposure to cryptocurrencies without directly holding them. The move follows years of market development and positions the UK alongside other jurisdictions adopting regulated crypto products. Analysts expect the decision to boost adoption, with tax-efficient options like pensions and ISAs set to include ETNs from 2025 and 2026, respectively.

LinkedIn has updated its Open to Work feature, allowing users to add their notice period and expected salary to profiles. These optional details are visible only to recruiters, helping streamline hiring by matching availability and compensation expectations. Candidates who define roles, update profiles, and enable the feature are more likely to get callbacks, with chances of recruiter messages potentially doubling. Ubisoft scrapped its plans for an Assassin's Creed game set in the Reconstruction-era US after the Civil War over fear of political backlash, according to a new report. Citing sources familiar with the matter, the report claimed the game would have featured a former slave as the assassin protagonist taking on Templars and members of the Ku Klux Klan.

Google has silently started rolling out the Wear OS 6 update to Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Watch 2. The update is available for both Bluetooth and LTE variants of the Pixel Watch 2 and Watch 3. It includes Material 3 Expressive design language with colour themes, typography. It also said to offer improved battery life over the existing Wear OS 5.

Razorpay and OpenAI, along with National Payments Corporation, are coming together to bring "India's first agentic payments" solution to the country. Using the company's payments stack, people will soon be able to search, explore, and buy groceries and other products directly through the artificial intelligence (AI)-powered chatbot. Currently, the feature is in the pilot stage. However, Razorpay is allowing people to sign up for early access.
