A Threads feature is reportedly in development that would let users control their own algorithm, linked to similar tools coming to Instagram. Instagram is said to have confirmed that the tool remains an internal prototype with no testing or release date yet. Screenshots suggest users could tag a dedicated account to indicate content they want to see more or less of. The feature resembles Elon Musk’s plan for X, letting users tag Grok to adjust their feed in real time.
