Tilly Norwood, an AI-powered digital avatar created by Particle6, has sparked a major debate between Hollywood and Silicon Valley over the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in entertainment. Unveiled at the Zurich Film Festival, Norwood attracted interest from talent agents, prompting backlash from actors and unions who fear AI could replace human performers in films and television.

Ubisoft has shared a teaser for Assassin's Creed Mirage: Valley of Memory update. The free DLC will get a full reveal on October 6. The expansion will be set in 9th century AlUla, an ancient Arabian oasis city. Assassin's Cree Mirage was released in 2023 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox platforms.
