Vivo unveiled its new Android 16-based OriginOS 6 during the Vivo Developer Conference 2025 on Friday. The Chinese smartphone maker also launched the BlueOS 3 operating system (OS), too. The OriginOS 6 update will bring fresh themes, artificial intelligence (AI) tools, redesigned home page and app icons, along with a new home screen and clock widget. The upcoming Vivo X300 series and iQOO 15 will run the Android 16-based OS out of the box.

Samsung Galaxy M17 5G Launched in India With 50-Megapixel Camera, IP54 Rating: See Price, Specifications

Samsung Galaxy M17 5G was launched in India on Friday as the South Korean tech giant’s latest budget smartphone offering. The phone succeeds Galaxy M16 5G, which debuted earlier this year. The company said that the phone is IP54 rated for dust and splash resistance. It carries a 50-megapixel triple-rear camera unit, too. On the front, the new smartphone features a tear-drop cutout to house the selfie camera. It will go on sale via Amazon and the company’s online store, and will be available in two colourways.
