Apple has announced that it is rebranding its video streaming service, Apple TV+, to “simply” Apple TV, dropping the “+” sign. The company revealed the same, without giving any further details, as part of the global streaming debut announcement of Apple Original Film ‘F1 The Movie’, starring Brad Pitt and directed by Joseph Kosinski. However, the Cupertino tech giant did not articulate its reason for the rebranding bid. After this, Apple has three products with the same name. The Apple TV app, Apple TV smart TV device, and Apple TV streaming service.

Sony and Microsoft are reportedly working on their respective next-generation consoles. Two separate sources claimed last week that both PS6 and the next Xbox console were targeting a 2027 launch. According to a tipster, the next-gen Xbox would be more powerful that the PlayStation 6, but would also be more expensive.

Google, on Tuesday, announced that it will invest $15 billion (1.3 lakh crore) in India to set up an artificial intelligence (AI)-focused data centre. Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian confirmed that this data centre will be built in Andhra Pradesh’s port city, Visakhapatnam. The investment will be made over a period of the next five years.
