A recent report reveals references to Google’s upcoming “bubble apps” feature in the latest Android Canary 2510 release. The update will allow users to drag an app’s icon from a tablet’s bottom corner to open it in a floating window, complete with a tutorial and animation. Expanding beyond chat bubbles, this system could make multitasking smoother and more flexible on large screens. The feature may debut with Android 16’s first Quarterly Platform Release in 2026 or Android 17.

OnePlus 15's launch in China is a few hours away. Leading up to its much-anticipated debut, the Chinese smartphone maker has been revealing various specifications and features of its upcoming flagship handset. Now, the company has listed 10 new upgrades that the phone will offer over last year's OnePlus 13. It is claimed to launch with multiple IP ratings for dust and water resistance. It will also feature a new gaming chip.

Oppo launched the Find X9 and X9 Pro in China with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chips, while the Find X9 Ultra is expected later this year. Tipsters suggest it may feature a 6.8-inch 2K display, an improved quad-camera setup with dual periscope lenses, and a large battery between 7,000mAh and 8,000mAh, which could possibly be the biggest among Ultra models. Oppo is also reportedly developing an ultra-thin smartphone, potentially part of the Find or Reno series, alongside Xiaomi’s rumoured 17 Air.

OnePlus 15 is scheduled to go official in China later today (October 27) alongside the OnePlus Ace 6. Mere hours ahead of launch, the pricing of the upcoming OnePlus handsets has been leaked, according to a report. The flagship model is expected to be offered in four RAM and storage variants, with the top-end configuration coming with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of onboard storage. Meanwhile, the OnePlus Ace 6 will reportedly be sold with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage.

Apple is reportedly developing a vapour chamber cooling system for the next-generation iPad Pro, expected around spring 2027. According to analyst Mark Gurman’s Power On newsletter, the feature will improve heat dissipation, allowing the device to stay thin and maintain strong performance during heavy use. The new iPad Pro will likely feature Apple’s 2nm M6 chip, debuting in Macs next year. Apple first introduced vapour chamber cooling in the iPhone 17 Pro series, which effectively reduced overheating, especially during gaming.
