Apple seems to be preparing to debut a low-cost Mac laptop. The new device is likely to be designed for students, businesses and casual users. It is expected to rival the Chromebooks and entry-level Windows PCs. The low-cost Apple laptop could use an iPhone processor and a lower-end LCD panel. The screen will also be the smallest of any current Mac, slightly below the 13.6-inch one used in the MacBook Air.
