Xiaomi Watch S4 41mm and Smart Band 10 Glimmer Edition were launched on Wednesday. The Watch S4 41mm comes with a 1.32-inch AMOLED display, HyperOS 2, 150 exercise modes, 5 ATM water resistance, and a 320mAh battery, claiming up to eight days of usage. The Smart Band 10 offers a 1.72-inch AMOLED screen, AI-powered swim stroke detection, advanced sleep and heart rate monitoring, 5 ATM water resistance, and a 233mAh battery lasting up to nine days with always-on display or 21 days with typical use.

Redmi Pad 2 Pro was unveiled on Wednesday by Xiaomi’s sub-brand during the company’s September 2025 launch event. Apart from the new Redmi tablet, the Chinese smartphone maker also launched the Xiaomi 15T series, its new smartwatch, and a fitness band. It sports a 12.1-inch touchscreen. It is powered by a Snapdragon chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

Xiaomi 15T Pro has been launched in global markets alongside the Xiaomi 15T. The Pro model comes in Black, Grey and Mocha Gold colour options with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset under the hood. Both phones offer an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The Xiaomi 15T Pro has 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.

Xiaomi on Wednesday unveiled the Xiaomi 15T series alongside HyperOS 3. The latest OS update introduces AI-focused upgrades, including a smarter HyperAI assistant powered by Google’s Gemini 2.5 and OpenAI’s GPT-4o mini for handling complex queries. The 15T series also comes bundled with three months of free Gemini Pro subscription for buyers.

The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has proposed allowing stablecoins and tokenised assets as collateral in derivatives markets. Acting chair Caroline Pham said the plan would modernise collateral frameworks, with feedback open until October 20. Crypto executives from Circle, Coinbase, and Ripple welcomed the initiative, calling it a key step toward integrating digital assets into regulated finance and boosting efficiency, liquidity, and trust. The move aligns with wider US efforts to update digital asset regulation.
