The Realme GT 8 Pro, Vivo X300 Pro, and Poco Pad M1 have appeared on the UAE’s TDRA certification site, suggesting upcoming global launches. As per a new research by Omdia, India’s smartphone shipments surged 3 percent YoY growth in the July-September period (Q3) in 2025, with total shipments touching 48.4 million units. The growth is driven by the early festive season and new launches. Vivo retained its lead with a 20 percent market share, followed closely by Samsung. Xiaomi came in the third position while Oppo and Apple rounded out the top five.

BSNL, the government-owned telecom service provider (TSP), has announced a new plan for new senior citizen subscribers. Dubbed the BSNL Samman Plan, it offers unlimited calling for 365 days, 2GB data per day, and a free SIM card. This is a limited-time offer, which will be available till November 18. The new plan is exclusively for people aged 60 and above. It comes as part of the TSP’s Diwali Bonanza offers, which bring discounted tariffs and additional benefits during the festive season.

The handset is manufactured in China. It is expected to arrive as a global variant of Redmi K90 Pro or Redmi K90 Pro Max. The Poco F8 Ultra is rumoured to come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
