Amazon is reportedly planning to replace human workers with AI-powered robots to cut costs and boost efficiency. Internal documents suggest the company could avoid hiring around 6,00,000 US workers by 2033 through warehouse automation. To soften backlash, executives are reportedly advised to use terms like “advanced technology” or “cobots” instead of “robots.”

OnePlus 15 will launch in China on October 27, with an India release date yet to be announced. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and a 7,300mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging. Samsung's Galaxy S26 series is expected to be launched early next year with upgrades over the Galaxy S25 series. Though official details remain unconfirmed, a new report suggests that Samsung could use its latest in-house Exynos chipset in its upcoming series. Samsung's Exynos 2600 is expected to outperform Apple's and Qualcomm's latest chips. It is said to offer improved graphical performance and NPU performance over Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. An early Geekbench listing suggests mixed performance.

Nintendo has announced a second Direct presentation for the upcoming Switch 2 racing title, Kirby Air Riders. Kirby Air Riders Direct will be livestreamed on October 23 on Nintendo's YouTube channel. The presentation will be hosted by game director Masahiro Sakurai.

YouTube is expanding its likeness detection tool which lets creators identify and flag content that features their likeness generated using artificial intelligence (AI). It is now available to all creators under the YouTube Partner Program. If a creator spots their likeness being used by another party on YouTube, they can submit a removal request for review, as part of the platform’s privacy guidelines.
