Mark Cuban’s Fallen Patriot Fund, started in 2003 to support families of US troops killed or seriously injured in Iraq, reports distributing more than $5 million in grants. Cuban covered all administrative costs himself and pledged up to $1 million in matching funds. Run by The Mark Cuban Foundation, the fund has since expanded to help families of first responders killed or injured on duty.
