Ray infused Rajasthani musical flavor into the song ‘Ghoom Ghoom’ for ‘Mirzapur The Film’. He traveled to Jaipur to experience the local music and atmosphere firsthand. The director requested the song carry Rajasthan’s essence in a dance style. Ray reworked the word ‘Ghoomar’ to ‘Ghoom’ for a modern, intense feel. The song releases ahead of the film’s scheduled September 4, 2026 premiere.
