In 1904, this 1,227-foot Cincinnati warehouse was among the world’s longest; 210 feet are now gone

Longworth Hall in Cincinnati, once 1,227 feet long and among the world’s longest buildings, has been shortened by about 210 feet for a new Ohio River bridge. The historic 1904 railroad warehouse will retain most of its structure, while bricks from the demolished section will be reused to rebuild its east end.
