Meet Charles Radford: US sailor who spied on Kissinger during the 1971 India–Pakistan war

A young US Navy yeoman, Charles Radford, secretly copied classified documents from the National Security Council during the early 1970s. He passed these sensitive papers, including those related to Henry Kissinger’s handling of the India-Pakistan war, to senior military officers. This internal spying revealed a power struggle between civilian leaders and the military, with Radford acting as the conduit.
