‘Mother of Satan’ linked to Shoe Bomber, London, Paris, Brussels and Manchester attacks; now suspected behind Delhi Red Fort blast

Triacetone triperoxide (TATP), a highly volatile and destructive explosive nicknamed “mother of satan,” is suspected in a recent Delhi car blast. This dangerous substance, cheap and easy to make, has been a key component in numerous global terror attacks, including the 2005 London bombings, the 2015 Paris attacks, and the 2017 Manchester Arena bombing.
