Oman’s Tax Authority has introduced a three-point plan to eliminate double taxation on UAE imports, effective October 13, 2025. This clarification allows Omani businesses to zero-rate UAE imports, recover mistakenly paid VAT via credit notes, or claim direct refunds from the UAE FTA, streamlining cross-border trade.
