Thailand’s new prime minister promises to tackle Cambodia border conflict and constitutional reforms

Thailand’s new Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul outlined his government’s agenda, prioritising economic recovery, diplomatic resolution of the Cambodia border conflict, and a new democratic constitution. He faces a four-month election deadline and opposition from the People’s Party, despite their support for his premiership. Anutin also pledged to tackle debt, utility costs, and corruption.
