Google has launched its latest Pixel devices, which includes the latest Pixel 8 series smartphones — Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro and a new smartwatch Pixel Watch 2 in India. All new Pixel devices are now for pre-orders in the country.

The Google Pixel 8 is priced at Rs 75,999 in India. Customers can get a bank discount of Rs 8,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs 3,000 when purchasing this new Pixel device. On the other hand, the Google Pixel 8 Pro comes at a higher price of Rs1,06,999. However, buyers can a bank discount of Rs 9,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 4,000.

On the other hand, the Google Pixel Watch 2 is priced at Rs 39,900 in the country. All Pixel devices will be available for purchase starting 12th October on Flipkart in India. Interested buyers in India can visit the e-commerce platform Flipkart to pre-book the new Pixel 8 series smartphones and the new Pixel Watch 2.

Google Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 8 And Pixel Watch 2: Specifications

The Pixel 8 comes in Hazel, Rose, and Obsidian colour options and the Pixel 8 Pro is available three colours — Bay, Porcelain, and Obsidian. The Pixel Watch 2 is also available in Polished Silver/Bay, Matte Black/Obsidian, and other colour options.

The Google Pixel 8 has a 6.2-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, Pixel 8 Pro has a bigger 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display and a 120Hz refresh rate with to 2,400 nits peak brightness. The Pixel 8 series is powered by Google’s custom-made Tensor G3 chipset with Titan M2 security coprocessor. Both the devices run latest Android 14 out of the box. Coming to the battery, Pixel 8 is backed by a 4,5775mAh battery with 27W fast charging, and the Pixel 8 Pro by a 5,050mAh battery with 30W fast charging, respectively.

Both, Google Pixel 8 Pro and Google Pixel 8 are coming with Bluetooth version 5.3, Face ID, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and an IP68 rating. Also, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are different in size and weight. The Pixel 8 is smaller, measuring 5.92 x 2.79 x 0.35 inches and weighing 187 grams. On the other hand, the Pixel 8 Pro is bigger, with dimensions of 6.4 x 3.01 x 0.34 inches and a weight of 213 grams. Pixel 8 Pro also comes with Seven years of OS, security and Feature Drop updates.

Coming to cameras, Pixel 8 has dual camera set up on the rear side, which includes 50MP wide camera and 12MP ultrawide camera. Pixel 8 Pro, on the other hand, comes with triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP wide camera, 48MP ultrawide camera, and a 48MP telephoto lens with Super Rez Zoom up to 30X. For selfies and video calls, both devices feature a 10.5MP front camera.

Last but not least, Google Pixel Watch 2 retains the same display size as the first-generation Pixel Watch, featuring an OLED Display with 320PPI and 1000 nits of peak brightness. The watch is now powered by a new faster Qualcomm 5100 quad core processor. With the new Pixel Watch 2, Google has improved its workout tracking capabilities, thanks to the new multi-path sensors, and the watch also features the redesigned Fitbit app which offers a range of new tabs, and coupled with new AI features.
