OnePlus entered the tablet market in India this year
OnePlus launched its first premium tablet earlier this year and now it could bring an affordable variant for markets like India.
OnePlus has teased the launch of a new tablet in the Indian market with its new post on X this week. OnePlus entered the tablet segment with the OnePlus Pad premium model earlier this year and now rumours hint that the company plans to bring an affordable to the market. The latest teaser from OnePlus suggests the same product will be launched soon in the country.
Recently, reports have talked about OnePlus launching a new tablet called the OnePlus Pad Go and this teaser more or less confirms those rumours. As you can see in the post here, OnePlus has shared a sketch of a device that looks like a tablet, with a tagline, All Play, All Day and says coming soon, which suggests the rumoured OnePlus Pad Go tablet could have a long battery life.
OnePlus is planning big for the next year with the new OnePlus 12 series already spotted in the wild. Many assumed the tablet would be introduced along with the flagship phone early next year. But the new teaser suggests otherwise, as OnePlus is definitely planning to launch a tablet in India very soon.
We still don’t have any idea about the design, features, or even the name of the tablet for that matter. But all rumours are pointing in one direction, which is, the OnePlus Pad Go. The company could launch it below the OnePlus Pad in the lineup, which could be a rival to the Xiaomi Pad 5 or the Realme Pad series in the market.
The brand could opt for a mid-range chip and tone down the design elements to keep the price manageable. The tablet market in India is not crowded or high in demand but brands still feel that Android tablets are there for the taking, as long as the value and features match their needs.
OnePlus Pad showed positive signs from the company with its premium design, 144Hz display, powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset and a fast-charging battery.
