A 76-year-old man, Paik Karmai, was tragically killed on the NH-24 service road in Ghazipur village after a black SUV allegedly skidded and struck him. The driver, a 26-year-old advocate, was apprehended at the scene while other occupants reportedly fled. Investigations are ongoing.
